Head In The Clouds
Thematically, these paintings started with me pondering this ever-expanding cloud that we are all supposed to upload our lives to. But the work ended up having just as much to do with a progression of mental states and the seemingly constant need to find clarity. I think these paintings helped me find some peace and beauty by just resting in the turbulence.
Thematisch begannen diese Bilder damit, dass ich über diese sich ständig ausdehnende Cloud nachdachte, in die wir alle unser Leben hochladen sollen. Aber am Ende hatte die Malerei genauso viel mit der Entwicklung meiner mentalen Zustände zu tun, und dem scheinbar ständigen Bedürfnis, Klarheit zu finden. Ich glaube, diese Bilder haben mir geholfen, Frieden und Schönheit zu finden, indem ich mich einfach in den Turbulenzen ausruhte.
